Collectors Still Turn Out At Delaware Show

Buyers and sellers showed up at a recent Card Show in Newark, Delaware. Many were looking for the recently released 2010 Topps Series 1 Baseball, where others wanted to sell cards they've dusted off from the attic.

"The collectors are still at it," Jill McCormick of Columbia, Md. said (who sold 2 vintage cards for $1,100)
"In this economy, it very much surprised me."

It appears that Topps and MLB have work to do as it was noted that many in attendance were older. That hopefully change as this season the manufacture and league plan to promote cards to the younger generation. We'll see if there efforts start to pay off later in the season.
