2008 Bowman Chrome Ray Rice Superfractor Autograph RC

Ray Rice had a breakout season running the football for the Baltimore Ravens in 2009. Not only is he a powerful runner, but he's got soft hands and can catch the ball out of the backfield very well. Initially the Ravens were splitting time with Rice, LaRon McClain and Willis McGahee, but Rice proved he was the best of the trio and had some huge games to stake his claim as one of the top young running backs in the NFL. The most watched football card on eBay is his 2008 Bowman Chrome Superfractor Autograph RC, serial numbered 1/1.
There might be a lot of Rice super collectors out there who really want this card. I am not aware if this card has been for sale in the past, but I would imagine that it will end up in a personal collection because the price probably won't get too out of hand.  One thing to note about Rice, is that he has a very nice autograph - great handwriting and very legible.

I like Ray Rice's outlook for 2010, of course as with all running backs, he must stay healthy. There were many games in which Rice was the best player on the field but the coaching staff would continue to mix in McClain and McGahee. It was McGahee who I remember would come in and get the goal line carries at the beginning of the season and that hurt some of Rice's overall rushing numbers (1339 Yards 7 TD's). The receiving numbers are off the carts. 78 REC 702 Yards!!! Wow. Those are numbers some WR's would like to have. As long as the Ravens game plan doesn't mix too many other RB's into the mix, expect big numbers again for Rice this season.
