2010 Bowman Chrome Bryce Harper USA Superfractor 1/1

Before the Washington Nationals selected Bryce Harper #1 in the 2010 MLB Draft in June, the phenom played on Team USA in 2009 which allowed Topps to produce some trading cards prior to him even being drafted. The 2010 Bowman Chrome Team USA Superfractor, serial numbered 1/1, is currently for sale on eBay.
Word of the big pull surfaced on the Freedom Cardboard Forums on June 29th and you can view some clean scans of the card on page 4 of that thread.  The seller of the Harper Superfractor, ejc216, makes note of an imperfection at the bottom edge of the card in the auction description.  Nonetheless, it is a really nice card of a player who scouts have raved about for several years. There is a reserve on the auction, and the current price of $2,700.00 had not met the asking price. If I had to take a stab at what the reserve would be - I would guess $5,000.00 but that is a shot in the dark.

Harper's future teammate in Washington, Stephen Strasburg, has seen his 2010 Bowman cards set the hobby on fire. In late May, Robert Power purchased the Strasburg 1/1 Superfractor for $16,403.00.  Just one month later Power sold the card to Razor Collectibles for $21,403.00.  The Strasburg 1/1 Superfractor will now be inserted into 2010 Razor Rookie Retro, due in stores later this year. No word on if Razor will attempt to buy the Harper USA Superfractor currently for sale.

Update: Card now for sale for $25,000.00 or best offer.
